Roku Android app update lets you stream video from your phone to your set-top box


Last month, Roku updated its iOS app to let users shoot videos from their iPhones or iPads directly to their Roku devices — a handy, Airplay-style way for those without an Apple TV to liberate video from your iOS device. Now, Roku has gone ahead and added the same functionality to its Android app, which you can download now from the Google Play store. Unfortunately, not all Android users will get this functionality. For starters, it's limited those who own the Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S4, Nexus 4, HTC One, and last-year's Nexus 7.
